The Message from La Cocina

Dear Friends —

In a moment of extreme uncertainty, we’ve been trying to find ways to support the La Cocina businesses in staying afloat. We’ve taken inspiration from our community and testing out something completely different that may help alleviate some financial difficulties for La Cocina businesses while showcasing what they do best: feed you! We’re piloting a La Cocina Community Food Box, which includes TEN delicious fresh & frozen prepared foods by La Cocina businesses.

We’ve got two sizes: FAMILY—each of the 10 items serves 4 people and REGULAR — still 10 items, but serves 2 people. Omnivore & Veggie available for all your shelter-in-place needs.

100% of the revenue from the boxes goes back to the businesses making the food.

The food box can be ordered this week and available for contactless pick up this Friday (March 27) at our 2948 Folsom Community kitchen between 12PM-3PM.

At this time, we do not have the capacity for delivery of these boxes due to our limited resources as a non-profit, our small team, and wanting to pass along as much costs to entrepreneurs. We know this doesn’t answer everyone’s needs and appreciate your understanding.
