Ingredients:
1 pound of Tomatoes (fresh or canned), diced
2 tablespoons Miso
1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 each Yellow Onion, sliced
1 clove of Garlic, minced
Sea salt for taste
How to make:
Put the garlic and olive oil in a pan, and sauté over low heat until the garlic gets lightly browned. Add onion and sauté until they are cooked through. Add a pinch of sea salt while sautéing the onions to enhance their sweetness.
Add tomatoes. Put miso at the center of the pan, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
Mix well, taste, and add miso or salt if necessary.
This tomato sauce can be used for pasta, pizza, or any of your favorite dishes.
